A Quilter doing Machine Embroidery: Quilts 2011

When is a quilt completed? When it is quilted, bind and washed (if necessary- I starched my quilts so it is usually necessary). So here is quilts I have worked on and completed in 2011 and the detail where I blog about the process as I have promised in the process pledge.

Quilts- WIP 2011
Work in Progress need a name so that I can keep track of it. I sometimes name it and have it on my list just to forget which quilt was named Brown Blocks? On this page I will post the completed quilt and link where I showed or discussed the process. I will also show the 2011 WIP (Work in Progress)- this is only those I have worked on or am working on during this year.

I started to digitized the designs of Aie Rossmann from her book "Affairs of the Heart". I try to use satin stitch as applique in very few circumstances and embroider instead of applique the smaller units.
